About Mrs. Gilmore

Mrs. Melissa Gilmore grew up in Syracuse, New York. She graduated from Syracuse University in 2005 with a Bachelors' Degree in Music Education with an emphasis on Performance and a Masters of Music Education.

Mrs. Gilmore taught elementary band and orchestra before becoming the high school band director in California for five years and New York for one year before moving here to Mississippi in 2011. She has taught Choir at Gautier Middle School ever since.

Mrs. Gilmore lives with her husband, 2 daughters and 2 cats near Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
