Welcome to English Language Learners
My name is Irmariz Hernandez Barreto. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I graduated from Universidad Interamericana in Arecibo, Puerto Rico with my bachelor degree in Education of art (k-8). I have a Master degree in Curriculum and Teaching. I worked at PHS for 5 years as an ESL Assistant Teacher. I am excited to be teaching at Gautier Middle School! I enjoy gardening and great outdoor adventures with my family. I speak Spanish. ¡Bienvenidos!
The mission of the class is to enrich students in the English language. I want the students to live a unique experience in class. My goal is to offer you a variety of activities to enhance their learning. Technology is an important part of our classroom and enriches the learning environment. I really enjoy working with students.
